European Eyes on Japan / Japan Today vol. 12
Seit 1999 lädt die Organisation EU-Japan Fest jährlich 3-4 europäische Fotografen ein, in einer der 47 japanischen Präfekturen zu arbeiten, in diesem Jahr sind es Silva Bingaz (Türkei), Andreas Gefeller und Arion Kudaz (Ungarn) in der Präfektur Tottori. Die Ergebnisse werden u.a. in Ausstellungen in Japan und in der diesjährigen Kulturhauptstadt Istanbul gezeigt. Es erscheint ein Katalog.

Since 1999, the institution EU-Japan Fest yearly invites 3 to 4 photoartists to work in one of the 47 japanese prefectures; this year Silva Bingaz (Turkey), Andreas Gefeller und Arion Kudaz (Hungary) in the prefecture Tottori. The results will be presented in exhibitions in Japan and Istanbul, this year's Cultural Capital of Europe, amongst others. A catalogue will be published.
